Prof. Hickey of the University of Melbourne attended this conference at the end of July 2016 and reported about study results.

In cooperation with the Melbourne Royal Women’s Hospital, the University of Melbourne carried out a research study by using a silicone-based formula from pjur. It compared the effects of a silicone-based lubricant and a water-based lubricant for the symptomatic relief of vaginal dryness after breast cancer. All female participants of the trial were given a pjur silicone-based formula to use during the treatment.

Final report: pjur, the silicone-based lubricant, improved pain with sex significantly better than the water-based lubricant did.
